After a highly distinguished career in Law Enforcement with the NYPD Bill retired
as a Chief of Police. As a Police Chief Bill commanded the Patrol Borough of
Bronx & Manhattan South as well as the Organized Crime Control Bureau, NYPD
Intelligence Division, Dignitary Protection Bureau & the Criminal Investigations
Bureau.
While in the NYPD, Bill was a highly decorated member and winner
of the NYPD Combat Cross. Bill also holds an MS in Criminal Justice, Cum Laude
from LIU as well as graduating from the FBI National Academy. Being too young to
fully retire, he was recruited by Attorney General Elliott Spitzer as the Chief of the
NYS Attorney General’s Criminal Division. While heading the Criminal Division of the Attorney General’s Office, Bill had revamped the ways the office operated giving the Attorney General a more active role in Criminal Prosecutions & gaining a wider criminal jurisdiction for the Attorney General. One of the higher profile cases that Bill headed was in tackling the wide amounts of fraud committed upon the Medicare System and successfully arrested many fraud rings involved.
Bill has recently joined Defender Security’s team and is now in charge of the Security
Consultation Division. |
