New York State Requirements

• NYS DMV Driver’s License Non-Driver ID
• Proof of Citizenship or Work Authorization
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• Current Phone Bill
• Complete Verifiable 5 yr. work history complete with dates, names, address, zip, phone
• At least one full year of experience as a guard preferred
• GED of High School Diploma
• 8 hour NYS Guard Pre-assignment Training Certificate
• 16 hour NYS Guard On-The-Job Training Certificate
• NYS Current Guard Registration

New Jersey Requirements

• Proof of Citizenship of Work Authorization
• NJ DMV Non-Driver ID or Driver’s License
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• Current Phone Bill
• Complete Verifiable 5 yr. work history complete with dates, names, address, zip, and phone. At least 1 year of that preferred as a guard.
• GED or H.S. Diploma
